The Siberian Husky is a highly active, adventurous dog that can be mischievous, clever, and independent. They need a significant amount of daily exercise, like a hike or a long jog. This dog will do best if it has a large enclosed space where it can run off-leash.
They’re very social and thrive on both human and canine contact. Although they can sometimes be assertive with strange dogs, they usually do great with other dogs in the home. However, they may chase cats and small animals.
Without enough exercise and attention, these dogs may dig, chew, and howl. They also need to be brushed once or twice a week, and daily when they’re shedding heavily.
