The Bulldog might look like a sourpuss, but it’s actually one of the most affectionate dog breeds! These dogs are true comedians, with a jovial personality and a very mellow disposition. They’re generally willing to please, although they do have a stubborn streak.
Bulldogs are wonderful with children and fairly friendly towards strangers. They’re generally good with other household pets, although some can be aggressive to unknown dogs.
This breed generally has a low energy level and minimal exercise needs. In fact, over-exertion can be dangerous. They cannot tolerate heat or humidity and most can’t swim. They also often wheeze, snore, and drool.
Bulldogs require minimal coat care but their wrinkles must be kept clean and dry to avoid skin infections.
